Mrs. Jamie Wilkinson has been a Paralegal with The Fuentes Firm since 2013. She has trial experience as a Paralegal and has supported the practice areas of both civil and personal injury litigation related to transportation, construction, transactional, and business matters.
Prior to becoming a Paralegal, Mrs. Wilkinson spent nearly thirty years in the retail industry with seventeen of those years working corporate level positions in Management, Merchandising, Finance and Operations. Her background experience includes contract and price negotiations, vendor and customer relations, analysis, data mining, financial reporting and project management of new business initiatives. Mrs. Wilkinson is an Excel Power User and is adept at extracting pertinent data from voluminous records.
Mrs. Wilkinson actively conducts research and interviews, drafts legal documents, is clear and concise in written and oral communications with clients and opposing counsel, employs analytical and critical thinking skills, and is detailed and organized in her processes. Mrs. Wilkinson is also a Notary Public with commission expiring February 2021.
She is a founding member of The Fuentes Firm, P.C. and currently works on the Commercial Litigation/Collections side of the firm.
Mrs. Wilkinson obtained a B.S. degree from Texas State University-San Marcos in 1997 and an Advanced Paralegal Certificate from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved program in 2012.
