Rachel Behnke

Law Clerk

Ms. Rachel Behnke is a law clerk within our Houston Personal Injury department. She is a rising third-year law student at Texas Tech University School of Law, where she serves as an Articles Editor on the Texas Tech Law Review and as a member of the Board of Barristers. In addition, Ms. Behnke is a national competitor on Texas Tech’s Pretrial, Moot Court and Mock Trial Advocacy Teams, where she has placed as a finalist and semi-finalist and has been awarded as an Overall Top Oralist. Through Tech Law’s intraschool Board of Barristers competitions, Ms. Behnke has earned both a Moot Court and Mock Trial Championship and was titled a Top Oralist in each competition offered by the Board. In recognition of her excellence in advocacy, Ms. Behnke was awarded as the “Top Gun,” or top advocate of her class at Texas Tech Law.

Prior to law school, Ms. Behnke earned her bachelor’s degrees summa cum laude from Texas Tech University, double-majoring in Spanish and Honors Sciences and the Humanities. She graduated with Highest Honors from the Honors College and was named as a Highest Ranking Graduate.

Ms. Behnke has gained hands-on litigation experience through her prior clerkships, where she worked on legal research, depositions, and trial preparation, and assisted in oil and gas, maritime, and insurance defense matters. She is also fluent in Spanish, a skill that allows her to effectively communicate with and support many of our Spanish-speaking clients.

We’re proud to support Rachel’s continued growth and are thrilled to have her as part of our team.
