Maddie Suttles

Law Clerk

Maddie Suttles is a third-year law student at the University of Houston Law Center, where she is a candidate for her Juris Doctor in May 2026. Prior to law school, Maddie earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Texas Christian University, a background that has sharpened the storytelling and communication skills that translate naturally to courtroom advocacy.

Maddie has built an impressive competitive record in her time at UH Law. She is a 1L Mock Trial Champion, a Regional Champion, and an Outstanding Advocate honoree. This past semester, Maddie and her partner competed as Semifinalists at the Texas Young Lawyers Association’s National Trial Competition in Houston. She also represented UH Law at the National Championship for the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition, where her team advanced as National Quarterfinalists.

We are excited to have Maddie’s competitive spirit and courtroom instincts on the team.
