Ms. Cristina Belaval has over 15 years’ experience specializing in commercial litigation, civil appeals, commercial international arbitration proceedings, lender’s liability, construction disputes, insurance subrogation claims, and other consumer protection laws and regulations.

Prior to joining The Fuentes Firm, Ms. Belaval worked as a sole practitioner who specialized in lender liability litigation. In addition, Ms. Belaval worked as a Junior Partner at Martinez Odell & Calabria in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Ms. Belaval graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2017 with an LL.M. in Energy, Environmental, and Natural Resources. She is also a graduate of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law.

Ms. Belaval received a  Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston College Carroll School of Management and is a graduate of the International Studies Program at Monash University and the Italian Studies Program at Drake University.
