Mrs. Autumn Owen is a Partner at The Fuentes Firm, specializing in personal injury defense and wrongful death claims for clients in the transportation industry. With a strong foundation in insurance and litigation as a Licensed Litigation Claims Examiner prior to law school, she brings invaluable expertise to her practice.

A cum laude graduate of Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, Mrs. Owen was an active member of the Moot Court Team and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. She also served as Chairperson for the Student Affairs Committee. Her diverse legal background includes work in personal injury, labor and employment, higher education, and criminal prosecution, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Public Service from Middle Georgia State University.

In addition to her legal practice, Mrs. Owen actively contributes to the Texas Trucking Association, serving as an Officer on the Emerging Leaders Council and participating in the Ad Hoc Tort Reform and Legislative/Regulatory Committees. Texas Trucking Association (TXTA) serves as the unified voice for the trucking industry in Texas. These efforts on the part of the industry contributed to significant legislation in 2021, including the newly enacted Actions Regarding Commercial Motor Vehicle chapter of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code.

Mrs. Owen also actively participates in the firm’s mentorship program, guiding young attorneys and clerks in their professional development.

Mrs. Owen’s recent trial success in Bexar County, where she achieved a jury verdict of only $22,650—well below the Plaintiffs’ $2.5 million demand—demonstrates her strategic acumen and commitment to her clients. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas and multiple U.S. District Courts.
