Alexandrea “Alex” Montellano

Law Clerk

Ms. Alexandrea “Alex” Montellano is pursuing her J.D. at the University of Texas School of Law and is expected to graduate in May 2024.

Before joining our team, Ms. Montellano gained 4 years of experience at a personal injury defense firm, where she started as a paralegal and later advanced to law clerk. There, she developed relevant skills and knowledge that will serve her well in her new role as an attorney.

Throughout her time in law school, Ms. Montellano furthered her writing and analytical abilities as the Articles and Notes Editor for the Texas Environmental Law Journal, as well as Staff Editor for the Journal of Law and Technology. In addition, she was involved in the community as a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and the Chicano/Hispanic Law Students’ Association.

Ms. Montellano also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Administration degree in Government and a minor in Business Foundations Programs. During this time, she was an active member of the legal fraternities Texas Phi Delta Phi and Pi Sigma Alpha, and a member of Minority Women Pursuing Law.

Ms. Montellano has already proven to be a strong and dedicated member of our team, and we look forward to welcoming her as an attorney in the fall of 2024.
